Accountant Job Opening in Wilmington, Delaware - Aston Carter is working on behalf of an established employer in the Wilmington, DE area to locate an Accountant.
This is a 6 month contract to hire position. It is a great way to get your foot in the door with an established organization.
This accountant will be responsible for:
Interact with the company?s business units and Corporate Finance team.
Verify and post interfaces related to SAP, Oracle, Computers Unlimited (CU), ADP payroll and other systems. Manage internal checklists for audit tracking and to troubleshoot issues related to interfaces.
Prepare daily Sales Mix and AR Securitization reports.
Prepare standard journal entries and monthly account reconciliations.
Post journal entries submitted to the team?s centralized mailbox.
Prepare audit files needed for review of user?s system access.
Maintain the team?s resource files.
Complete the quarterly testing of the Inventory Reserve calculation.
Complete the periodic testing of system upgrades.
Identify opportunities to enhance/streamline business processes.
Escalate non-routine issues to the General Ledger Team Manager.
Qualified candidates should meet the following criteria:
1 to 3 years? experience in General Ledger Accounting or Strong Internship Experience
ERP or Accounting Software experience
Excel experience with Pivot tables and Vlookups
Bachelor Degree
