Dynamics NAV Developer Job Opening in Auburn, Washington - SUMMARY OF POSITION
This position supports our NAV 2017 ERP system. Specifically, developer will program solutions utilizing the NAV C/SIDE environment, and other resources available to provide tools that will assist all department units in meeting their goals and objectives. Developer will utilize best practices in processes, procedures, software development and implementation.
The ERP Developer will work on the IT team in our corporate office in Auburn WA, under the direction of the Business Applications Manager.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Development of customizations for reimplementation project from NAV 5.1 to NAV 2017; primary role will be to provide gap programming to extend the functionality of standard NAV functionality to meet Peterson business requirements, specific tasks will be but not limited to:
Writing code and perform unit testing
Testing code for validity of results, accuracy and conformance to specified development specifications
Ability to develop custom NAV reports and other BI reports per requirements documents and standards
Create supporting code documentation * Develop tools for migrating master data into NAV 2017
Maintain existing software
Providing go live and post-implementation support
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
NAV experience required
2+ years of NAV Development experience with ability to follow development best practices
Working experience in NAV development for the Role Tailored Client in NAV 2013 and above
Working experience in developing NAV reports with SQL layout
Knowledge of posting process and data flow in NAV
Ability to debug and troubleshoot issues related to NAV code
Hands-on knowledge of the NAV database schema
Experience with developing NAV web services a plus
Object-oriented development
Microsoft /C#/Java development a plus
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2014/2016
SSRS Report Writing
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Ability to successfully multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Detail oriented
High energy and self-starter
An aptitude and drive to learn new technologies and drive solutions
PREFERRED EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
Bachelor?s Degree in information technology, Computer Science, or equivalent
Microsoft Development Certification(s)
