Senior Media Strategist - PR Healthcare Job Opening in New York, New york - Responsibilities:
Provide strategic insight and guidance to the account teams
Enhance media capabilities across the agency
Ensure that the agency stays abreast of all current and breaking industry and client-specific news
Identify and predict trends within the healthcare industry
Provide media outreach support, coordinate logistics, conduct research, oversee media lists, conduct media pitches, etc.
Research and develop relationships with the new generation of media influencers
Establish and maintain relationships with the media important to the agency?s clients and stay on top of the changing media landscape
Work effectively in a team environment to meet and exceed client expectations
Develop, proofread and edit media content, as needed
Develop correspondence and reports based on monitoring of trends, media/ social media coverage, etc.
Qualifications:
2-3 years-experience in healthcare PR ? agency or corporate
Exceptional communications, problem solving and analytical skills
Strong writing and editing skills
BA or BS in Public Relations, Communications, or related field
