MARKETING~EVENTS DIRECTOR Job Opening in Washougal, Washington - We currently have an opening for a dynamic Marketing Director who will be responsible for external marketing and internal event based marketing for our assisted living community in Washougal Washington. The Marketing Director will assist in the development and implementation of all aspects of the marketing plan including advertising, community relations and sales, as well as special events for the community.
General accountabilities:
Establish strong relationships with professional referral sources to help maintain budgeted occupancy
Communicate and emulate Columbia Ridge?s culture and mission
Effectively market the community to seniors and their families
Establish networks to market the community and increase its exposure for potential residents
Develop and direct special marketing events including but not limited to special events at the building to attract new customers, thank current customers, and build relationships with referral sources
Attend and actively participate in greater community functions such as chamber events and various relevant club meetings and events
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications:
2+ years of marketing and sales experience
Team Player with a rich culture of respect, integrity, compassion and commitment to excellence
Creative personality that is outgoing and energetic
Hospitality or healthcare industry experience is highly desirable
Solid track record of consistently exceeding sales goals
Experience using competitive analysis tools
Experience in developing copy for print ads
Experience with revenue management and development of pricing strategies to maximize revenue
