Hospice - Spiritual Care Counselor Job Opening in Keene, New hampshire - Opportunity Available for a Per Diem Hospice - Spiritual Care Counselor
Under the general supervision of the Hospice Program Director and in accordance with agency standards and policies, serves as a member of the Hospice interdisciplinary team and is responsible for providing spiritual care for patients and families upon request, assuring that the spiritual and religious issues of patients and the hospice team are addressed in the most effective way.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Have earned a Master of Divinity (MDIV) or equivalent graduate degree that includes theological studies.
Must have completed a minimum of two (2) units, or be in progress of completing, Clinical Pastoral Education training or equivalent.
Have at least two years pastoral/clinical experience.
Be endorsed by and in good standing with the denomination or faith group that ordained or recognized the chaplains.
Have assessment, interpersonal, ethical and pastoral skills as well as a personal commitment to a maturing spiritual life.
Maintains a program of reading, formal education, experiences, spiritual development, clinical supervision and peer review.
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Have a valid New Hampshire driver?s license with unlimited access to reliable transportation and have adequate automobile insurance.
