Franchising Attorney Job Opening in Hampton, New hampshire - Our Job Opening:
Planet Fitness Headquarters is seeking a Attorney with three to eight years? experience to join its legal team. The Franchising Attorney?s main areas of responsibility will be (i) overseeing the preparation of franchise agreements and area development agreements, (ii) preparing franchise disclosure documents (U.S., Canada, international), (iii) assisting with franchisee compliance and diligence issues (defaults, terminations, etc.) and franchisee transfers, (iv) providing the company with timely sound legal advice regarding various franchise-related, operational and contractual issues, (v) drafting franchise-related agreements and communications, and (v) efficiently and effectively utilizing outside counsel and other resources.
Your Proven Track Record:
3-8 years? experience representing franchisors and/or franchisees strongly preferred, preferably in both domestic and international markets.
JD from accredited law school.
Prior experience negotiating and drafting agreements required.
Large/medium firm or in-house experience strongly preferred.
Ability to be admitted to practice in New Hampshire.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Collaborative team player.
