ERP Business Analyst - Las Vegas, NV
This position will be a member of an integrated team focused on service leadership in enterprise business systems support and the implementation of system solutions to enable business objectives. This role will provide timely support to our JD Edwards EnterpriseOne user community and lead small projects delivering solutions to complex business requirements, all while maintaining a focus on exceptional customer service. This position will report directly to the Director of ERP. Must have experience in Distribution, CAM, inventory and/or Real Estate Property Management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Designs new system solutions by analyzing requirements, studying system capabilities; writing specifications including, but not limited to, functional configuration, report design, and integrations for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, ReportsNow, and other enterprise applications.
Recommends controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures; security management.
Defines project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements, leading project execution from specifications to testing to deployment
Ability to lead change, improve processes, and take initiative to solve problems
Monitors and leads development projects by completing project documentation; tracking activity; resolving problems; updating project plan; recommending actions
Provides references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation; providing enterprise systems incident/problem resolution; training users
Maintains user confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
Prepares technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed; achieving personal and organizational goals and metrics

Computer Equipment and Software:
Thorough knowledge in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.x applications
Experience with ReportsNow Data Access Studio
A thorough understanding of Table Structures, Software Design, Software Documentation, Software Development Process, Software Requirements
Certification:
CPA highly desirable
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related Business field
Experience:
Must have experience in Distribution, CAM, inventory and/or Real Estate Property Management.
Must have a minimum of 8 years? experience in a Business Analyst role, or similar
Must have 5 to 10 years of JD Edwards application experience
Basic Project Management skills, training, and/or experience
Must have held previous accounting or finance roles within a corporation, preferably utilizing JDE
Strong experience in Finance & Accounting including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, & Fixed Assets
Experience managing and supporting security
