Outside Sales Representative Job Opening in Kansas City, Kansas - Tri-State Equipment is a growing company that has been family owned and run for 58 years. We are a hoist and crane fabrication and service company covering the Mid-West. We are seeking an experienced industrial or crane sales person for the Kansas City market.
Responsibilities:
-Marketing and sales of our equipment for the Kansas City area.
-Grow sales territory by calling on end users in a wide range of industries.
-Day to day job requirements will require cold calling and prospecting for new accounts as well as supporting current customers in the territory.
-Project management of new and ongoing projects to include working with clients to determine their requirements, formulate proposal, and run project through completion. Full engineering, service, parts, and installation support is provided by our employees.
-Work with our service department with customers service issues.
Requirements:
Bachelor?s degree or relevant work experience
2-3 years? experience in industrial or overhead crane sales.
Communication skills to interface with customers on the phone, in-person and written communication.
Mechanical aptitude a plus.
Travel within a 250-300 mile radius with some overnights required.
Base salary plus commission, 100% medical insurance and company car with insurance provided.
