The Athletic Club is looking for a Membership Sales Team Member who will be responsible for helping prospective and current members reach their fitness goals by obtaining a TAC membership. Membership Sales Team Members acquire and interact with prospective and current members, follow up with leads generated through our website, and maintain relationships with the member base.
Responsibilities:
-Contribute to increasing to club membership base by selling membership packages.
-Enthusiastically promote TAC as a premier sport and fitness facility
-Administer personalized tours to guests and prospective members
-Promote club activities, like personal training, sports lessons, and leagues.
-Increase member retention by helping existing members get involved and comfortable with club offerings.
-Manage and follow-up on website leads, referrals, missed guests, etc.
Requirements:
-Candidates must be self motivated, energetic, and outgoing.
-Comfortability making cold calls and soothing upset customers a must.
-Great organizational skills and punctuality are a must.
-An understanding, appreciation, and enthusiasm for the fitness and athletics industry.
-Strong interpersonal communication and negotiation skills.
-Must be a team player with a customer-first attitude
-Must be available to work days, evenings, and weekends.
-Comfortable in a sales environment. Prior sales experience not required, but a plus.
