Catering Sales Manager Job Opening in Tulsa, Oklahoma - Job purpose
Responsible for catering sales growth primarily through their own efforts. As well as, setting up for outside catering events.
Duties and responsibilities
Finding prospects for new business as well as uncovering potential sales from existing customer data base.
Responsible for overseeing the entire order from preparation to the distribution process through regular check ins with Director of Catering
Oversee off-premises delivery of food orders to catering customers.
Stays up to date and follows market events and trends to identify sales opportunities (i.e. Wedding Shows)
Sets up in-person presentations for customers, to provide taste testing with the direction of the Director of Catering
Responsible for timely completion of administrative duties such as completion of vendor forms, contracts, etc.
Stays up to date with catering software, keeping current and accurate notes and maintain the customer database.
Qualifications
Qualifications include:
Previous experience in a similar position or in the restaurant business is helpful but not required
Ability to operate in a multi-task environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work under pressure
Computer literacy
Must have reliable form of transportation.
Working conditions
Will be required to work weekends, nights, and holidays if necessary.
Physical requirements
Must be able to lift at least 25lbs or more.
