Hospice Branch Administrator Job Opening in Charleston, South carolina - A National Home Health and Hospice company currently seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as the Hospice Administrator for our location in Southeast South Carolina. This is a great opportunity for an experienced, motivated individual to join a rapidly growing agency!.
The Hospice Administrator is responsible for planning, organizing, and developing all Hospice Agency functions including, but not limited to: operations administration, clinical oversight, supervision and leadership.
Oversees the overall operation of all programs of the agency.
Annual budget preparation and expense monitoring.
Long-range planning, organizing, directing and staffing.
General oversight of patient care and effective management of utilization of services.
Fiscal management.
Ensure continued growth by expanding new and existing client base.
Oversee/supervise team of clinical and non-clinical staff.
Job Requirements
A Registered Nurse (RN). BSN strongly preferred.
Licensed to practice as a RN in the state of SC.
Progressive clinical and management experience in a hospice setting strongly preferred.
Minimum of 3 years experience within the last 5 years in a MEDICARE CERTIFIED home hospice agency setting required.
Budget and profit/loss (P/L) statement management experience required.
Extensive knowledge and understanding of federal/state laws and guidelines pertaining to Hospice and Medicare.
Proven success in revenue growth and in the development and execution of market planning required.
High level management skills needed to be successful in the role as a leader to include conflict management, negotiation, team building, communication, budget administration and coaching/mentoring others.
