Tax Accountant Job Opening in Dripping Springs, Texas - Rapidly growing CPA firm in Dripping Springs is seeking a full-time tax accountant with experience in tax planning, preparation, and research. Responsibilities :
Preparation of tax returns (1120, 1120S, 1065, 1040, 1041, state returns) in a process oriented environment for individuals, small and mid-sized businesses
Continued development of processes
Tax research and planning
Special projects
Our firm does not prepare compiled, reviewed or audited financial statements.
Required characteristics: Effective communicator and ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel to ensure that each project is managed as efficiently as possible; ability to quickly learn and incorporate new information; ability to rapidly switch gears from one engagement to another; ability to work both as a team member and independently without supervision; Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to contribute to and participate in task resolution; integrity and professionalism
Required : Bachelor?s Degree and 2+ years of tax related work
Required Qualifications:
Quickbooks and/or general accounting system experience
Experience with MS Office suite with a proficiency in Excel
Comfortable working with cloud based environments and paperless office
Required license or certification: CPA or CPA candidate
