Our Owner is looking for an Administrative Assistant/ Personal Assistant that can help support, balance and maintain an ever-growing Accounting firm. Our Owner oversees a rapidly growing Accounting Firm in addition to her various tasks and full calendar. The ideal candidate will thrive in an ?always busy? environment keeping the office organized and flowing, as well as supporting our Owner to help achieve success in managing the Accounting Firm and many various miscellaneous tasks.

Our team works extremely hard, has a lot of fun and are changing business leader?s lives across Houston through our award-winning certified public accounting services.
Administrative Assistant / Personal Assistant responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assist with general email and phone messages for the team
Ordering and maintenance of office supplies
Maintain and update customer and leads in a Microsoft Access database
Managing and supporting workflow amongst accounting staff
Manage workflow and paperwork internally within an electronic filing cabinet
Respond to customer service questions and needs
Follow-up with clients and internal staff regularly to ensure timely filing of tax returns
Handling accounting tasks for the firm including, but not limited to, payroll, incoming payments, returns, and A/R collections
Typing ? at least 50 wpm
Other duties as assigned
The best candidate would be capable of:
Multi-tasking at a high pace, with attention to detail
Acting as a ?gatekeeper? for the Owner
Processing accounting forms
Organizing Team Events
Handling personal errands
The best candidates would possess the following skills and experience:
5+ years of administrative experience
Bilingual a plus
Extremely organized and efficient
Very detail oriented and process driven
Proficient with MS Access, MS Excel, MS Word, Apple Products and Outlook
Keen ability to think two steps ahead
Tech savvy/ familiar with the web, the internet, and technology
Adaptive and works well under pressure
Thrives in a fast-paced environment
Capable of problem-solving
Confident, personable, and a ?go-getter?
Great communication, both written and verbal
Enjoys supporting a team
Desires to grown alongside the Owner
Teachable and willingness to learn new practices and procedures
