Senior Accounts Payable Job Opening in Baltimore, Maryland - The Senior Accounts Payable to join a corporate accounting team in Hunt Valley, person will be responsible for the day to day entry and management of several accounts payable processes including purchases entry and payments. Also, this position is responsible for drafting royalty payments, recording credit card purchases, and vendor maintenance.
Responsibilities
The Senior Accounts Payable will:
Organization of all month end activities.
Organization, coding and manual entry of approved invoices received into the accounting system on a daily basis, including SGA, TE and miscellaneous.
Entry of invoices against purchase orders in PO module, including pre-press, print and postage, and importing transactions from this module into the accounting system.
Vendor maintenance, including PO Module and accounting system.
Assist Accounting Managers with daily banking and cash management.
Requirements
The Senior Accounts Payable professional will need the following to perform the job successfully:
5+ years A/P experience
Concur experience required
Attention to detail with excellent analytical skills
Very well organized and the ability to multi-task
Excellent computer skills, with focus on Microsoft Excel, Word and Accounting programs.
Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate with people of all levels of the organization professionally
