Assignment Capsule As a Technology applications consultant you will: �Develop an understanding of Humana's business needs and translate those needs into technological systems, design specifications and solutions. �Partner with other associates to analyze, design, develop, implement and integrate moderate and complex business systems that will optimize business outcomes. �Engage in development, software support and issue resolution activities. �Plan for and execute quality and performance testing for new and existing applications. Role Essentials �Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems. �Comprehensive understanding of the software development life cycle. �Proven experience in the areas of system analysis and development. �Proven understanding of object-oriented principles and service oriented design patterns. �Proven experience leveraging Visual Studio (C#), XML, MS Office, Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 and SharePoint. Role Desirables �Understanding of the health care industry, the insurance industry and personal wellness programs. �Experience leveraging Agile practices, techniques and methodologies. �Desire to continually learn and stay current with IT technologies. �Strong leadership, analytical and problem solving skills. �SSRS Reporting, SSIS �Experience with Silverlight, Prism, Expression blend preferred Reporting Relationships �You will report to a Technology Manager.
