Seasonal Tax Accountant Job Opening in Chicago, Illinois - O'Malley & Kwit, a downtown Chicago CPA firm, has an opening for a seasonal tax accountant with 5+ years of public accounting experience, primarily in tax. This position affords the employee with a great deal of responsibility and client interaction, as well as exposure to a large variety of engagements.
Position Highlights
Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns for individuals, trusts, and closely-held businesses, estimated tax payments and extensions, and Federal and State tax audits
Assist interns and new staff with tax preparation and firm processes
Develop client relationships
Research and analysis of technical issues
Seasonal, full-time employment from January - April, and September - October
Position Requirments
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting or Tax
CPA
5+ years of public accounting experience (tax)
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Ability to transfer knowledge to newer staff members
Salary: commensurate with experience
