We are seeking Senior Auditors in Auditors are involved in all aspects of an audit engagement. Responsibilities include engagement planning, conducting risk assessment procedures, designing audit programs, leading audit team, training staff, preparing audit workpapers, detail reviewing workpapers of staff, preparing financial statements, overseeing single audits, preparing audit findings, and recommendations. Work closely with clients, audit team, and managers/partners.
Required:
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or related field from an accredited college/university.
Ability and willingness to travel to various work locations.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Word and Excel.
Strong interpersonal skills and oral and written communications skills.
CPA preferred or actively preparing to pass the CPA examination.
Ability to multi-task.
Ability to work in teams as a member and a leader.
Minimum 2 years of recent work experience as an auditor within a public accounting firm or accountant within a government or not-for-profit organization.
Knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, GASB, FASB. Knowledge of Yellow Book, Single Audit requirements, and DHS requirements preferred.
