Responsibilities Include:
Sales
Selling Lifetouch programs, products and services through sales calls to district officials, school principals, parent/teacher organizations, yearbook advisors, coaches, athletic directors, student groups, and league sports administrators.
Maintaining and rebooking business in assigned sales area.
Timely execution of all sales plan activities.
Developing and executing a SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) for each competitor by interviewing schools and collaborating with peers in territory for assigned sales area.
Developing and implementing an individual sales plan to achieve territory sales expectations
Maintaining, completing, and submitting paperwork/reports, including weekly sales logs, call reports, account files, account recovery forms, and other reports as directed by manager.
Ensuring all necessary pre portrait day data (e.g. EDT) obtained from account in a timely manner to support positive portrait day experience for host and customer.
Meeting with and updating manager on a regular basis regarding sales activity, challenges, and opportunities toward achieving established sales expectations.
Establish, build, and maintain productive business relationships with current and prospective accounts by:
Making regularly scheduled sales calls.
Creating, updating, and maintaining complete account files, for each account.
Service: Provide exceptional customer service to all accounts by:
Acting as the point of contact and providing quality product, program, and service information to accounts in a timely manner.
Visiting accounts on portrait day to ensure a positive portrait day experience for host and customer.
Interviewing decision-maker(s) after portrait day to ensure customer satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
Providing service support to accounts as needed, including delivery of service items and/or portraits to each account.
Photo Lead Supervisory Duties
Provides leadership, guidance and direction to photographers on job site.
Conducts weekly one-on-one meetings with assigned photographers to review photo quality (e.g., posture, facial view, lighting, framing, eye direction, grooming, expression, technical aspects, etc.). This includes grading and reviewing images on an ongoing basis with assigned photographers while creating quality improvement plans for photographer development.
Observes photographer on photo day and identifies opportunities for photographer performance improvement and development. Works with the Manager to help manage photographer performance.
Provides ongoing coaching and on-the-job training to assigned photographers.
Promotes a positive work environment by motivating photographers and implementing retention strategies to maintain and improve employee satisfaction and engagement.
Attends regular photography meetings to help ensure assigned photographers understand the meeting content.
Ensures appropriate staffing levels when scheduling photographers for picture day.
Assisting & Customer Service Duties
Promotes open communication among photography, operations, and sales staff to ensure photographers are prepared for upcoming jobs (i.e., relevant school-specific details, supplies, paperwork, etc.).
Serves as the liaison between customers (e.g., school administration) and photographers on picture day.
Responds effectively to difficult situations that arise at the job site (e.g., schools/studio) and provides appropriate guidance to photographers. May be responsible for overseeing the coordination of the overall photography experience at the job site.
Enters and promotes to team all available Recognition programs (Portrait Excellence).
Photography Duties
Photographs subjects as needed while adhering to photographer duties and responsibilities.
Adheres to the photography schedule by arriving on-time to assist photographers safely set-up equipment during picture day.
Maintains knowledge and ability to operate all cameras, lenses, accessories, and photographic equipment in addition to selecting appropriate equipment based on job and program type.
Reviews and checks paperwork and equipment during the photography job check-in and check-out processes.
Minimum Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred; a minimum two-years of proven sales experience; or equivalent combination of education and training
