Regional Sales Manager - Western USA Job Opening in Portland, Oregon - United Flexible is a global leader in the design, development, manufacture and support of performance critical flexible engineered solutions for the transfer of fluids and gases. The product and system solutions include metallic, composite, and fluoropolymer tubing, hose, engineered assemblies, precision bellows, bellow assemblies and thermal actuators in several high growth end-markets including aerospace, defense, satellite, power generation, industrial equipment, pharmaceutical systems, oil & gas, cryogenics/cooling and transportation. The company?s critical flexible engineered solutions improve pressure and temperature performance, increase reliability, reduce weight, and minimize the footprint of mission performance systems for its customers.

The Regional Sales Manager will report to the Vice President of Sales.
Geographic Responsibility ? Western United States (California, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Washington,, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming). The candidate will need to reside in one of these states and work from a home office.
Position Duties and Responsibilities
This position is focused on securing business from prospective and current accounts in an effort to meet sales objectives through solution selling.
Establish close customer contact to determine customer needs and position United Flexible to optimize the portfolio sold to each customer.
Qualifies sales leads generated from company website, trade shows, quote requests and other sources.
Identifies, develops and maintains effective business relationships with the customer?s management and key buying influences.
Reviews customer requirements, recommends product solutions, initiates and closes sales quotations, and submits orders accurately and in a timely manner.
Canvasses industry trade shows; supports company trade show exhibits as needed. Provides trade show reports and documents leads.
Develop and execute business develop plans to identify and penetrate strategic accounts and prospects in attractive target markets and strategic accounts to meet region growth objectives.

Knowledge and experience:
Minimum five years selling engineered fluid transfer products, assemblies and/or system solutions to OEM and distributors
Ideal candidates would possess a working knowledge of flexible gas and liquid transfer tubing, hose bellows or complementary fluid control products, equipment or systems.
Ideal candidates would have experience selling to OEM?s in the aerospace, defense, power generation, industrial equipment and transportation.
Travel:
Willingness to travel as needed. The position will involve travel within region approximately 60%.
Should reside, or plan to reside, in the Western portion of the USA (Note: no relocation provided)
Education
Bachelor degree in engineering is preferred.
Compensation
