POSITION SUMMARY :
CrescentCare?s Information System Department is seeking a Clinical System Analyst to assist with day-to-day operations in the department. Participates in the design, development, implementation, modification and evaluation of health care information systems. Clinical System Analyst will work closely with HER and Applications Manager and Clinical team to design, develop and implement health care information systems. We are looking for dynamic, energetic and highly organized individuals to work with end users on a day-today basis.

Requires cooperation with the Agency?s Quality Assurance and Improvement Program. Includes actively participating in all required trainings, and in creating a culture of quality improvement. Cooperation with the quality program will be considered for performance reviews.
Requires cooperation with the Agency?s Compliance Practices. Includes immediately reporting issues, actively participating in required trainings, following HIPAA regulations, and assisting in creating a culture of compliance. Also includes compliance with written standards and all applicable federal and state laws. Cooperation with compliance will be considered for performance evaluations.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Participates in the design, development, implementation, modification and evaluation of health care information systems. Recommends automated and manual solutions to enhance system functionality. Participates in Project teams associated with the development and implementation of clinical systems.
Interacts with end-users as required to assist in problem definition and system design.
Work with clinical team to develop clinical content, order sets, templates and disease management.
Plan and facilitate training for applications with Application Training Manager
Test and implement revised/new HIT clinical content
Provide elbow to elbow support for clinical health information content for clinicians. Participating in rounding and providing "at the elbow" support in real time

Design the system that is user-friendly and that the User Interface layer presents content, format and navigation in a logical, useful and efficient manner for clinical use adhering to procedures and policies of the organization.
Design, develop, and implement processes and programs related to the clinical information systems and Electronic Health Record with minimal supervision.
Facilitate multidisciplinary team - physicians, nurses, pharmacists and other health care professionals to evaluate current state and develop future state design of applications by building consensus and using efficient decision-making processes.
Design future state workflow from a user perspective and delivering functional requirements
Function as a subject matter expert and liaison between clinicians, business owners and build team to design solutions
Lead initiatives to optimize the system functionality and workflow processes
Assess clinician enhancement requests, and champion the requests through the Governance Committees and change management processes
Troubleshoot and work with the appropriate teams to develop resolution for issues that are identified
Maintain a process for periodic review of application content with updates to content as required by evidence and best practices and clinical requirement
Learn industry trends and recommend improvements of application, training and adoption
Oversee continuous learning and facilitate end-user adoption and change management methodologies to ensure successful outcomes
Position will require travel between various community clinics and its affiliates
Position may require participating in meetings outside of normal business hours including occasional evenings and/or weekends

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor?s or a Masters in licensed clinical professions with 5 to 10 years of experience.
Clinical experience required
Five years of Healthcare/ medical office experience required
Two years of previous experience managing electronic health record applications or serving in the capacity of super user required.

Expertise using Microsoft Office, Excel and Power Point required
