On-call removal technician Job Opening in Shreveport, Louisiana - The Oldest Funeral Home in Shreveport, Forest Park Funeral Home, Wellman?s Memorial Chapel seeks hard working, compassionate individuals to assist in the pickup and transportation of our clients. The ideal candidate should possess a high school diploma or GED, clean driving record, professional appearance (No visible tattoos or excessive piercings), be able to lift 50lbs or more, and submit to drug testing. This would be an ideal position for someone with EMT or healthcare experience, or someone interested in becoming a funeral director. This will be a part time on-call position.
Applicant Requirements: Applicants must be able to remain compassionate, well-spoken and composed in difficult and/or emotional situations with grieving family members and the deceased; Applicants should work well with all segments of society, regardless of personal background; Applicants must be able to safely maneuver heavy loads of 200+ pounds; Applicants must have a valid Driver?s license with at least 5 years driving experience and a clean DMV record; Applicants should have strong geographical knowledge of the Shreveport/Bossier Region. Applicants should also have excellent written and verbal skills with clearly legible handwriting; Every applicant is expected to follow both written and verbal instruction with little to no follow up direction needed.
