PTV America Inc, the US-based subsidiary of PTV Group, a global leader in transportation and logistics software solutions (), is seeking to add a high-energy sales professional to our team in Arlington, VA.
This is a hybrid position combining both telesales and lead qualification responsibilities along with working with the marketing team on marketing-related tasks. The dual nature of the position offers both variety and potential for tremendous growth, making it both a challenging and interesting opportunity for you.
You will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with channel partners, generating interest, and qualifying prospects.
Your Qualifications:
A key factor is that you speak and write English with native proficiency and can communicate exceptionally well on the phone and online; you must also possess the legal right to work in the US
At least 2 years experience selling technology-based solutions. Experience in the logistics industry would be advantageous
Ability and desire to quickly learn about PTV?s cutting-edge software solutions and the fleet / logistics / transportation industry and its needs
Familiarity with CRM or sales/marketing automation software is a plus
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Must possess good self-confidence, a high degree of , excellent listening skills, and great tenacity to achieve goals
Your Responsibilities:
Your main goal will be to build a strong sales pipeline by converting ?raw? leads into qualified opportunities. You will do this by:
Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
Understanding customer needs and requirements
Routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales manager for further development and closure
In addition to these tasks, other responsibilities include:
Working the phones effectively to process inquiries
Qualifying leads generated by marketing campaigns (website traffic, email campaigns, events, etc.) and working with the marketing team to contribute to the success of said campaigns
Familiarizing yourself with our software products via organized training sessions to develop the best responses and arguments in your conversations with interested parties and decision-makers
Record and maintain the lead/opportunity data in our CRM system, ensuring its accuracy, currency, and completeness.
