Accountant Job Opening in Doylestown, Pennsylvania - Responsibilities
Provide tax compliance and advisory services to partnerships, corporations, S-corporations, and individuals for a variety of clients. Including, but not limited to preparation of income tax, sales tax, payroll taxes, & other tax requirements.
Assume tax-planning responsibilities for individuals & their businesses
Research a wide range of tax issues for a variety of clients
Research and consult on various tax matters, respond to IRS and other tax authority correspondences as needed
Provide recommendations for business and process improvements based upon knowledge gained relative to the client's operations, processes, and business objectives
Proactively build relationships and communicate effectively with the client to provide superior client service
Invest in professional development through active participation in training sessions, continuing education, and networking events both internally and externally
Demonstrate self-sufficiency with a positive attitude and high ethical standards
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent
At least three years of experience in a professional services firm providing tax preparation services
Experience preparing individual tax returns
Demonstrated analytical, organization, interpersonal, communication skills, and highly developed Microsoft Suite skills (Word, Excel) required
