SALES ENGINEER Job Opening in Troy, Ohio - Raymath, a growing Troy, Ohio company, is seeking a Sales Engineer to support our efforts to deliver high quality metal fabrications and machined parts. The selected individual is expected to support team efforts to insure processes are designed and operated in a manner that minimizes opportunity for error and ensures a satisfied customer.
Duties and Responsibilities
Sells consultatively and makes recommendations to prospects and clients of the various solutions the company offers to their business issues.
Reviews RFQ?s for compatibility with manufacturing processes and recommends changes where necessary.
Offers customers solutions for product improvement and reduced manufacturing cost.
Generates process routers to shop floor defining manufacturing processes.
Leads quote activities for assigned customers and products.
Interacts with manufacturing and other support groups to improve manufacturing and support processes.
Supports new product start-up activities.
Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
Education Requirements
5+ years of technical sales experience in the metal fabrication and machining industries.
Technical / engineering degree preferred
Good verbal and written communication skills
CAD skills required
Machining/sheet metal fabrication/welding experience preferred
Able to work in a fast paced team environment
Strong understanding of customer and industry dynamics
