Software craftsman skilled in TDD, CI, Pairing, and Agile practices.
Come and be part of the software engineering team whose mission is to connect digital teams with vehicle configuration services--software crafted by a team passionate about continuously delivering value.
You will become part of a team of highly capable and agile development and support personnel working on a key set of web services that support vehicle ordering from one of the Automotive dealers and vehicle build and price experience for their consumers.
Vehicle configuration.
services provide very fast processing against the millions of feature combinations that defines about their vehicles--features like model, body style, paint color, seats and trim level, engine, transmission, power windows, rear spoiler, tire and wheel upgrades, etc.
As an agile software craftsman, you will be practicing pairing, test-driven development, continuous deployment, 2 week iteration/3 month release cycles, retrospectives, and feature estimation and break down all with a focus on business value delivery.
All of the services are Rest-based with an XML payload, using a micro-services architecture, and deployed on Pivotal Cloud Foundry and IBM Websphere platforms
