Chief Sales Officer Job Opening in Alexandria, Virginia - Responsible for overseeing the planning, development and execution of KGH?s sales and marketing and initiatives.
Responsibilities include:
Develop competitive analysis/market intelligence, prospecting, lead generation, product and market development, pricing, promotions, communications and budgets, sales force effectiveness, strategic planning, services units and revenue retention and growth.
Anticipate the trends of the market and direct the market research efforts of the company.
Leverage data and analytics to drive insights.
Develop a marketing plan for the department and oversee its day-to-day implementation.
Plan and organize marketing functions and operations and ensure they project the company?s unique ?voice?.
Create a solid network of strategic partnerships.
Qualifications:
Thorough knowledge of marketing principles, brand, product and service management, sales and business development; along with a demonstrated track record of success and performance
Ability to understand changing market dynamics, translating them into actionable strategies to achieve company objectives
Solid understanding of market research and data analysis methods
Must possess a hands-on collaborative working style.
A bachelor's degree required and an advanced degree in marketing or business (MBA) is preferred. Ten years of well-rounded sales and marketing experience in positions of increasing responsibility, with a focus on marketing expansion. Must have 5 or more years of experience in a leadership role.
