Staff Accountant Job Opening in Thousand Oaks, California - LC Engineering Group?s accounting department is currently seeking candidates for a Staff Accountant. The Staff Accountant is responsible for various accounting and bookkeeping tasks.
Responsibilities include:
Entering and timely payment of invoices and receipts
Monitoring automatic payments
Reconciling monthly statements
Establishing new accounts as needed
Responsible for special projects, such as preparing 1099 forms
Maintain financial reports
Performing regular inter-company audits
Working directly with CPA to prepare and review tax returns
Provide reports to President/VP as requested
Assist with other projects and general office support tasks as needed
Position Requirements:
Bachelor?s degree
A minimum of 5+ years working in an accounting field
Knowledge of accounting principles
Strong mathematic skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Detail oriented, independent worker, and have a positive attitude
The position is currently part time with the schedule TBD.
