Position Summary: The Sales Manager works to expand and grow our commercial and residential landscape maintenance business by selling new services to existing clients and pursuing new clients. In addition, the Sales Manager maintains an ongoing relationship with customers to encourage networking and repeat business.
Essential Functions/Specific Job Duties:
Sell programs and services to current and prospective customers through traveling within assigned territory
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products and services and stay current with market trends
Conduct follow-up of leads and customer retention/service calls through means of telephone and person-to-person contact to identify customer needs
Develop sales strategies and help develop sales presentation materials
Maintain accurate sales documentation
Qualifications/Job Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required
Experience: Industry experience
Skills:
Customer-service focused
Effective verbal and listening skills
Sales experience preferred but not required
Self motivated
Conditions of Work:
Overnight travel is rare but may be expected on occasion
Pay and Benefits:
Full-time
Base salary, commission with residual income
Production bonus
