Programmer / Systems Administrator Job Opening in philadelphia, Pennsylvania - Programmer / Systems Administrator Conshohocken, PA Job Number: 13536 Our client, a leading national franchise organization, is seeking a Programmer to join their team. (This is a direct-hire position) Responsibilities: �Provide technical assistance to computer system users. �Answer questions or resolve computer problems for employees and franchisees in person, via telephone, or from remote location. �Provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, and operating systems. �Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems. �Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support. �Enter commands and observe system functioning to verify correct operations and detect errors. �Develop training materials and procedures, or train users in the proper use of hardware or software. �Install and perform repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications. �Convert project specifications and statements of problems and procedures to detailed logical flow charts for coding into computer language. Develop and write computer programs to store, locate, and retrieve specific documents, data, and information. �Correct errors by making appropriate changes and rechecking the program to ensure that the desired results are produced. �Conduct trial runs of programs and software applications to be sure they will produce the desired information and that the instructions are correct. �Consult with managerial personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, and suggest changes. �Compile and write documentation of program development and subsequent revisions, inserting comments in the coded instructions so others can understand the program. �Perform or direct revision, repair, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements. Requirements: �Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. �Software proficiencies in MS Office, Operating Systems, Server OS, Linux, SQL, etc. �Expert in relational database administration including MSSQL & MySQL. �Expert in C#, PHP, HTML/CSS, Javascript. �Strong knowledge of PERL & Shell scripting languages. �Good knowledge of server operating systems, including Linux (Fedora) & Windows Server 2003 & 2008 Contact: Marci Caudle Branch Manager Profiles : x.x.x philadelphia pa pennsylvania Phone:
