We are seeking an experienced commercial real estate accountant who knows how to communicate with numbers and through numbers. We are looking for that one person who really understands who we are, and loves how we do what we do ? in other words, who is wired the same way. We are imaginative, innovative, and solution-oriented; we move fast.
Our Property Management Accountant Will:
Manage all aspects of accounting for company entities;
Produce monthly financial reporting to owners (balance sheet and income statement);
Prepare tax information for outside CPA (city & county taxes, business, personal property tax);
Create and maintain detailed budgets and prepare related reports for management;
Manage cash flow and prepare cash flow projections;
Communicate with out of office employees and tenants;
Review bids and problem solve issues with vendors; and
Manage and reconcile loans.
We Are Looking For an Accounting Hero Who:
Possesses a Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related subject;
Has at least 3 years of real estate accounting experience in residential or commercial properties;
Knows and uses Yardi Enterprise Property Accounting Software so well that no training is needed to be proficient (Yardi Genesis would be considered with solid property accounting background);
Is the Excel go to person;
Is adept at reading leases, preparing lease abstracts and rent rolls, creating property budgets, reading loan documents and creating amortization tables;
Is organized, resourceful, professional, and a strong communicator;
Demonstrates a ?can-do? attitude, is highly motivated, and enjoys both a fast pace and multi-tasking;
Possesses strong critical thinking, problem solving, customer service and interaction skills;
Would rather be busy than bored, even if that means work weeks of up to 50 hours per week; and who
Has a strong understanding of what it takes to run a successful, fast growing business.
