We are a family owned and operated manufacturing company that over the past few years has experienced significant growth. This growth has brought with it some exciting challenges, including the need to add a highly qualified and experienced Office Manager to take control of our General Office team. There is a pre-employment background check.
The person we add in this position will have the following primary responsibilities:
Supervise an office staff of 3, and, coordinate with each Shift Supervisor their manufacturing staffing requirements.
Develop and implement a professional organization of duties; responsibilities; priorities; accounting procedures; internal controls; switchboard coverage; training and cross training of all functions.
Achieve consistently high accuracy of all accounting and office operations, including: customer billing; receivables; payables; cash receipts; deposits; bank and credit card reconciliations, and processing of state sales tax returns.
Review and verify that information used for calculating sales and cost of sales of every customer transaction is current and accurate.
Provide to Senior Management financial statements and management reports that are complete and accurate.
Supervise and be the back-up for all Payroll functions.
Function as the company Human Resource manager, ensuring the company meets all federal and state regulatory requirements.
The candidates we will consider for this position should have the following qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Accounting (preferred) or Business Administration degree with a minor in Accounting
Manufacturing Accounting experience: 5+ years
Intermediate to Advanced QuickBooks experience is essential
Solid skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and Word required
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communications skills
Demonstrated history of analytical and problem solving skills
There are secondary responsibilities included in this position, which we will discuss with qualified candidates. Only qualified candidates will be considered for this position.
This a full time position, Monday through Friday, offering a very competitive compensation package, including Salary, Medical, Dental, Paid Holidays, Sick Days, and Vacation.
