Vice President of Sales Job Opening in New York, New york - Vida Shoes International is looking for a VP of Sales to help grow and develop the Kensie footwear brand. We are looking for a strategic thinker that is pro-active in achieving business results.
Key Responsibilities:
Build, develop, and manage sales team capable of carrying out all sales and service initiatives.
Define and oversee activities, incentives, and processes to improve the value of existing customers.
Identify, assess and qualify new business channels and prospects; establish new business partnerships.
Develop, recommend, and implement sales strategies and plans to ensure revenue growth across company product lines.
Set short and long-term product strategies, client sales strategies and sales goals for department and individual Sales Executives.
Evaluate success of sales programs and implement changes to ensure goals are achieved.
Review markets to determine customer needs, pricing, and discount pricing based on individual retailer needs.
Analyze sales to formulate and assist in pricing sales.
Deliver sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives.
Meet with key clients to maintain relationships and negotiate and close deals.
Must be a strong revenue generator with a history of success in sales and sales management.
Ensure that the right product is in the right doors, and ensure that the Sales force strategically manages the productivity across independents and department stores.
Create the strategy for evolution and development of new distribution partners while maintaining growth in existing account base
Qualifications:
Strong technical skills in strategic and sales planning.
Demonstrated ability to train, develop and lead people.
Solid understanding of selling to retailers.
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
Excellent interpersonal, and communication skills including presentation skills.
Ability to source and aggressively pursue potential customers.
Outstanding negotiation and closing skills. Detail oriented with excellent follow-up skills
At least 8-10 years of Sales experience; experience is required
