This non-management position will report to the Assistant Vice President ? Finance. Primary responsibilities will include effectively synthesize, analyze, and consolidate business results from multiple information sources with associated management reporting requirements.
Responsible for performing the day-to-day financial analysis which includes cash-flow projections, cash-flow modeling, debt financing analysis, ad-hoc financial analysis, and analysis for assigned functional areas
Responsible for analysis and projection which includes forecast future revenues and expenditures to make sure that the company is on track.
Identify trends in financial performance, make adjustments to the forecasts and report any for improvement. Evaluate capital projects for cost benefit, payback analysis and relevant funding sources. Performs balance sheet account reconciliations, account analysis, accrual calculations, and other related accounting documents/schedules when necessary.
Provides input for the development of departmental processes and procedures to include flowchart and diagram process flows and work processes. Perform compliance reviews for established policies, processes and procedures. Responsible for performing special projects to improve process efficiency and performance
Coordinating with other members of the finance team to review financial information and forecasts.
Cross train to serve as back-up for other staff on key work processes.
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting. MBA or CPA preferred. Preferred candidate would also have a strong background in operations finance, in project accounting, debt financing, budget-to-actual spending analysis. Highly developed modeling and pro-forma experience and presentation skills are critical to the role.
Must possess a valid Tennessee driver?s license; must maintain SIDA (Security Identification Display Area)
Five (5) or more years of professional work experience in finance/accounting related work.
