Senior Progress Developer REMOTE OPPORTUNITY Job Opening in Frisco, Texas - Responsibilities:
Review, analyse, construct, and modify business application systems including coding, testing, debugging, and deployment
Ability to understand complex business, technical requirements and translate them into user-friendly applications
Work with other developers, architects, business analysts, QA and delivery leads in project delivery and solving technical issues
Ensure that deliverables meet or exceed functional, technical, and performance requirements
Follow and enhance established design, development, source code management, and deployment processes
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
Take on ownership of the projects and tasks assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree in software development or related experience in the Financial IT industry
Five years of application experience in Progress 4GL
Experience with Roll base, HTML5 and Java scripting ? A MUST
Two years? experience in Progress GUI programming
Solid experience in all phases of the software delivery lifecycle
Application integration experience is desirable
Working knowledge of web services technology and SOA practices
