K-12 Education Sales Support Job Opening in Westerville, Ohio - JOB SUMMARY:
Part time position in Westerville providing inside sales and customer service support for curriculum providers targeting schools nationwide. Service incoming calls and emails. Additional follow calls and emails will be placed to determine further interest, discuss existing curriculum and needs, set up rep presentations, provide cost proposals and in some cases, close the sale. Immediate opening as a result of expanding business.
Marketing Dimensions is a small family-run business based out of Westerville. We work together as a team to support one another and make a difference in the lives of students through our partnership with curriculum providers.
Clients included core curriculum and supplemental publishers, professional development groups, assessment providers, non-profit organizations, and online schools. Niche areas include special education, English Language Learners, and Catholic schools.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Place strategic outbound calls using a prepared script for market research needs
-Service incoming calls and emails in a professional manner
-Generate personalized emails using provided templates
-Schedule follow up outreach
-Maintain general knowledge of client's curriculum material
Outbound Telephone Lead Generation ? 35%
Email and Phone Follow Up - 40%
Market Research / Survey Work / Misc Admin ? 25%
QUALIFICATIONS: Requires at least two years of post-secondary education. Sales and customer service background preferred. Teachers and others with educational background also encouraged. Willing to train the right candidate. Spanish speakers a plus.
SKILLS: Strong Microsoft Office and keyboarding skills (Word, Excel and Access). Salesforce experience a bonus.
Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
Good judgment and decision making skills.
Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
HOURS: Hourly pay range based upon experience.
Monday - Friday, 4-6 hours per business day. NO WEEKENDS OR EVENINGS.
Follow a school schedule with banking holidays off. 6-8 weeks off during the summer.
Bonus program after 30 days.
