Disability Claims Representative Job Opening in Overland Park, Kansas - Ajilon Healthcare is assisting our client in South Kansas City, MO with a contract-to-hire search for a Disability Claims Representative. You will be responsible for a customer service job where you work with the company?s members over the phone to determine their current status and if they are eligible for disability benefits. You must have knowledge of claims and disability for success in this job. This is a team work focused environment with the opportunity to earn bonuses!
Disability Claims Representative job duties include:
Communicate via phone with plan members to understand their situation and determine whether or not they are eligible for disability benefits.
Use exceptional customer service skills and be friendly towards members, we are here to help!
Review disability claims and make preliminary decisions regarding whether or not they qualify and send claim along to the next person.
Qualifications:
Associate?s or Bachelor?s Degree is preferred (equivalent experience may be substituted)
Three years of customer service experience
Knowledge of disability claims and medical terminology
Desire to help others in their time of needs, compassion is a component of this job
Ability to work as part of a team
(Pay scale adjusted for candidates who are bilingual)
