Intake Specialist Job Opening in Overland Park, Kansas - Ajilon Healthcare is working a specialty healthcare office in the Overland Park to assist them with their search for an Intake Specialist to join their team. They are experiencing tremendous growth and are in need of an additional team member to support their patients. This is a close knit organization that works to better the patients they support each and every day. You will be responsible for assisting the patient on the front end, determining what type of coverage they have with their current provider and determine how to assist them. You?ll receive patient referrals from a variety of sources and be responsible for following up with patient and getting the process started! You?ll communicate with patients, insurance companies and providers on a regular basis. Your excellent healthcare knowledge and patient centered focus will set you up for success in this job. This is a direct placement job.
Intake Specialist job duties include:
Communicate via phone or writing with patients, physicians, insurance companies, family members and more. Must be very comfortable communicating with all of these people.
Work daily with internal reimbursement team to determine the best plan and policy for potential patient
Assist with all necessary paperwork for patient and obtain all necessary details to get new patients cleared. You?ll work regularly with new patients and getting them ready to go and covered for services.
Qualifications:
Associate?s Degree required
Two years of intake specialist experience (communicating with patients, reviewing referrals, contacting insurance companies)
Experience with home health, DME or infusions a plus!
Professional communication ? excellent grammar and communication skills are required for this job
