FRANdata is growing and looking for a talented sales executive to join our dynamic team of experienced professionals. We need a highly-motivated, self-directed, curious and enthusiastic person who is passionate about evangelizing compelling products and driving industry change. You will be able to work with leading executives, develop a respected reputation in the franchise industry and work in a fast-paced environment that demands and emphasizes collaboration and individual achievement.
Responsibilities:
Engage senior management teams to understand their business objectives and impediments to success.
Lead the entire sales process: discovery conversation, scoping the project, coordinating the creation of a proposal with the research team, closing the sale.
Present and advocate solutions to management teams based on best practices research, competitive intelligence and analysis.
Evangelize best practices to our clients and our industry peers via events, as well as working with the marketing team to develop messaging for webinars and other external communications channels.
Advocate for customer needs and positioning using evidence-based reasoning (both qualitative and quantitative).
Challenge clients to look at building their business in new ways.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree. MBA or related graduate work is a plus.
Five years of corporate sales and/or consulting experience
Experience working with senior corporate clients
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; in particular, the ability to convert complex ideas and quantitative data into simple messages. Proposal writing experience is a plus.
Ability to synthesize customer and market insights to identify recommendations for project scope.
Ability to manage multiple projects while soliciting and identify new opportunities
Proven ability to build a network of contacts.
Willingness to travel.
Franchising experience is not required, but is helpful.
Familiarity with sales software is a plus.
