KEY ACCOUNT SALES REPRESENTATIVE Job Opening in Montgomery, Alabama - GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The Key Account Sales Representative is assigned to key regional accounts in AL, SW GA and the FL panhandle. Leads the company's efforts to increase loyalty, dealer share, improve overall business growth and expand relationships with key customers. Assigned to key regional retailers, the Key Account Sales Representative is responsible for developing strategic sales plans to achieve budgeted sales goals and assigned strategic account objectives.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains direct relationships with decision makers on specific key accounts.
Develop strategic short and long-term account plan to build key-decision-maker relationships within the accounts (e.g. market and competitive analysis, pricing, strategies and execution).
Understand the competitors? local strategy and deploy strategies to counteract.
Increase market share within accounts through advanced selling, consuming floor space, superior service and retail sales training,
Develop annual marketing and advertising programs with each account.
Accurately forecast account specific demands and promotions to products and point-of-sales materials.
Ensure fair and equitable placement and reimbursement of retail advertising.
Develop and maintain an ongoing advertising calendar for each retail account.
Analyze performance and implement strategy to achieve goals and reinforce brand position.
Coordinate specific account training needs.
Develop, monitor, and communicate progress with management through monthly and quarterly business reviews.
Performs other duties as needed.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree (BA, or BS) from four-year college or university
Between three to five years sales experience with a career emphasis on bedding, furniture, or premium consumer durables
Proven interpersonal and communication skills - written and verbal.
