Sound Physicians' engaged hospitalist team model includes a Chief Hospitalist, Hospitalist Physicians and a Hospitalist RN. The Hospitalist RN is an essential member of the team responsible for driving performance improvements and implementing core processes at each of Sound Physicians' partner sites.
What is the role of a Hospitalist RN?
The Hospitalist RN is a fundamental member of the hospitalist team responsible for:
Driving performance improvements
Implementing core processes
Educating the hospitalist team
Cultivating communication between the hospitalist team and the hospital
Tracking and reporting performance
Requirements
The position requires strong acute care experience. Case management knowledge is a plus but not required. Qualified applicants will have strong thinking and communication skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, and an aptitude for continuous learning in the evolving profession of Hospitalist RN.
Qualifications
Minimum RN; BSN preferred
Required 5 years inpatient nursing experience
Exposure to electronic medical systems
Monday through Friday -- daytime hours
Annual salary depends on experience; Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), 15 days of PTO and paid Holidays.
