Full Time Registered Vascular Technologist Job Opening in Katy, Texas - We are currently seeking a full time Registered Vascular Ultrasound Technologist for our outpatient vascular clinic in Katy, Texas. We are a tight knit, rapidly growing group with a positive, team oriented practice and great work hours. No Call, nights, or weekends required.
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
Perform non-invasive vascular testing for peripheral arterial disease including arterial duplex, ABIs, PVRs, and TBIs.
Perform venous insufficiency and post procedure scans effectively and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of patient care
Prepare patient for exam by explaining procedure, transferring patient to ultrasound table and positioning patient
Obtain and record accurate information within electronic medical record system
Coordinate work with physicians and other healthcare team members
Assist with other clinical duties as needed
Maintain required certification and registries, health requirements, and operational requirements
Spanish proficiency a plus
REQUIREMENTS:
Candidate must be a registered vascular ultrasound technologist with a valid license
Experience with peripheral arterial disease and venous insufficiency is required
Current valid Texas driver license and current vehicle insurance
Current BLS and/or ACLS a plus
