Regional Operations Manager Job Opening in Dallas, Texas - Looking for the best of the best - bright, energetic Operations Manager, driven to be part of a strategic, successful team. We are currently seeking a Regional Operations Manager to work in a fast paced, multi-site, Pulmonary and Critical Care office. The perfect candidate must be a team player that is highly motivated and has a proven track record of implementing strategic initiatives.
Must be able to manage safety and quality programs, measure productivity of staff, and cost performance of healthcare facilities.
The Regional Operations Manager is responsible for the daily management of operations related to patient care, customer service, financial performance and staff management, development & training for multiple facilities, as assigned. Key success factors for this position are tied to outstanding physician and staff relations, supervisory practices, achieving financial and operational targets and implementation of continuous process improvement initiatives in the patient access, clinical quality and revenue cycle functions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Oversees clinical care, ensuring compliance with established regulations and standards; including quality assurance, confidentiality, and medical records documentation.
Provides direct supervision to support staff, ensuring optimal patient flow, high clinical quality and assuring the promotion of policy and directives that promote positive employee relations.
Serves as the key problem-solving resource for staff in regard to patient issues. Evaluates patient needs/trends and recommends solutions to ongoing patient care concerns.
Collaborates with leadership team and co-workers on the development and implementation of clinic goals, policies, procedures, budget plans, and work standards.
Supports training and use of EMR & PM systems. Develops ?Best Practices? and standardizes use of systems across all locations. Trains physicians and/or new managers on the use of the EMR & PM systems.
Monitors and improves practice key performance indicators related to revenue cycle, patient satisfaction and access standards.
Facilitates medical practice meetings related to clinic effectiveness and emergency/disaster response systems.
Responsible for the recruitment, selection, orientation, training, and performance evaluations of support staff, in partnership with human resources.
Demonstrates and requires excellent customer service with patients and families in clinic and over the telephone.
Responsible for effectively communicating the standards and ensuring continuity with company directives and guidelines.
Coordinates and conducts regular staff, Physician and working group meetings.
Ensures all regulatory compliance requirements are met, i.e. HIPAA, OSHA, chart coding audits, staff certifications kept up to date, CMS payment programs, etc.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Travels to all assigned facilities on a regular rotation and as needed based on business necessity.
Periodically may be assigned to special projects.
Manage labor costs and expenses to meet budget expectations.
Report performance metrics monthly.
Mentor and develop potential future leaders.
Experience with EMR optimization
Revenue Cycle Management

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in health or business administration or the equivalent of education and experience combined. Three to five years of practice management experience, including at least two years in a health care organization. Must have multi-site experience and direct experience working with physicians. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with Allscripts Pro PM and EMR is preferred.
