Sales Representative Job Opening in Janesville, Wisconsin - C&O CUSTOMER SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Reports to: Sales Manager
Summary
Representing Chambers & Owen at account level promoting all Chambers & Owen programs and services. Continually maintain store sets and plan-o-grams. Perform additional functions and duties.
Job Duties
Category Management
Maintain and update plan-o-grams, introduce new items, discontinue slow items, update shelf tags, utilize company purchase reports and assist in general product/category merchandising.
Program Selling
Promote C&O product programs and inform customers of value
added services such as Coffee programs/service, Market Messenger, monthly MBA program, manufacturer accruals and other vendor program opportunities. Involve Beverage/Food Service representative to assist in selling programs.
Retail Management
Assist customers with retail pricing and maintenance when
necessary.
Accounts Receivable Management:
Daily communication with credit department. Collecting all accounts in terms. Balancing and depositing collections accurately and timely. Properly processing all returns and credits.
Miscellaneous Duties
Assist customers with inspection of product outdates
Issue credits and returns regularly when applicable
Check and update store shelf tags and perform maintenance
Address all issues/concerns with appropriate store personnel
Inform customer of policy changes (C&O and manufacturer)
