POSITION PURPOSE: Under the supervision of the Sr. Manager responsible for Product Integration and Delivery with Ascensia?s R&D team, the incumbent will serve on the team of Software Verification & Validation engineers. The team is primarily responsible for system and validation of medical device software solutions in Ascensia?s portfolio, especially mobile Apps, and extended capabilities with App-to-App, App-to-Cloud, and Cloud-to-Cloud integrations.
MAJOR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF POSITION:
Responsible for tactical, planning, preparation and execution of the system integration and verification activities for new and sustaining product development programs.
Use modern methodologies in the design of acceptance test protocols for products and systems in various domains including the following: BLE Wireless, Mobile and Cloud-based systems.
Contribute at a high level to with project verification cycles to defect identification, triage, and change control decisions.
Provide technical direction to other system integration engineers and test engineers.
Provide input to project teams regarding the technical feasibility of validation of proposed designs and implementations.
Participate in continuous improvement of software engineering processes in our verification and validation stages.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor of Science or higher or equivalent in Computer Science, or equivalent technical discipline.
Solid OOP experience in C++, python, Java, Javascript.
Strong experience with Appium Mobile Test Automation Framework and alternatives.
Minimum of 8 years? work experience in software verification in waterfall and agile teams (6 years w/Masters, or 4 years with Ph.D)
Expertise in verification of Cloud-hosted databases, OAUTH, and RESTful API?s
Demonstrated experience incorporating automated testing into CI/CD frameworks like Jenkins
