Staff Accountant Job Opening in Newport Beach, California - STAFF ACCOUNTANT
Eureka Food Enterprises, located in Newport Beach, CA a multi-unit restaurant group company is currently seeking a full-time experienced Staff Accountant.
Essential Functions (not inclusive):
Responsible for month end, quarter end, and year end closings
Prepare, review and analyze Financial Statements on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
Assist in the preparation of budgets on an annual basis and provide analysis of financial data
Reconcile banking transactions and update cash transactions daily
Reconcile daily sales transactions
Analyze, prepare, and enter journal entries
Review invoices for coding approval
Correspond with multi-departments on a continuous basis
Perform special projects or other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or related field and 2-5 years accounting experience
Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret business transactions
In-depth knowledge of accounting theory and principles
Analytical and quantitative skills
Professional knowledge in restaurant/retail accounting
Deadline and detail oriented
Proficient with Excel
