Accounting Specialist Job Opening in Aurora, Oregon - Our Accounting Specialist will have a broad focus in their responsibilities for our fast growing firm. The AS reports directly to the Controller, and will have the opportunity to grow in responsibilities as our company grows as well!
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Inputs accounts payable invoices into VIP system and will also assume coding duties. Will analyze invoices for matching purposes, and produce periodic reports regarding overall AP expenditures.
2. Will be responsible for most elements of the AR function, including invoicing, disputes resolution, aging reports, credit memos etc.
3. Will perform basic balance sheet reconciliations under management of Controller.
4. Will offer general administrative support when required.
5. Will provide basic analysis of job costing reports/tracking.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. An Associates degree in a relevant field is a plus, but appropriate work experienced may be substituted (high school degree is required at a minimum).
2. Professional accounting experience of 1-6 years is required.
3. Must have prior experience in Accounts Payable and/or Receivable.
4. Prior experience working with an ERP system is highly preferred, Excel experience is a must.
5. A willingness and strong desire to learn and expand one's skills/knowledge is a must.
