Santa Fe Soul - Complementary Health Office Manager Santa Fe Soul, a 12-year complementary health practice is looking for an office manager who can ensure that overall business operations are welcoming, efficient and professional. Must be able to monitor and control the business operations of busy practice with several modalities and practitioners. Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities * works with practitioners and individual clients to schedule appointments. * welcoming and friendly phone and customer service skills * ensure patient records are current and accurate * oversees payroll and product retail sales * establish office policies and procedures * implement and monitor office policies and procedures * manage insurance contracts and ensure compliance with contracts * ensure compliance with current healthcare regulations, medical laws and ethics * liaise with vendors regarding equipment and supplies * manage patient scheduling * oversee registration of patients * supervise medical coding, medical billing and banking * provide education material to patients * communicate with patients regarding inquiries and complaints * ensure patient satisfaction * Responsible for office linens Education and Related Experience
Associate degree in a related field strongly preferred * Certified Medical Manager (CMM) or Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) an advantage * knowledge of accounting, data and administrative processes and principles * knowledge of human resource management principles and practices * knowledge of medical /insurance coding * knowledge of medical issues and terminology * knowledge of applicable regulations and state and federal laws * computer skills including knowledge of relevant business and client software
