Accounting Assistant Job Opening in Louisville, Kentucky - THE PEREGRINE COMPANY
Located in historic, quaint Anchorage Kentucky, The Peregrine Company (TPC) is a metals & transportation specialty company. TPC is seeking an accounting assistant.
Our office operates as the back end accounting department for 3 companies ( scrap metals management, steel and transportation) with some intercompany transactions.
This individual will be hands on in many accounting functions from a/p, a/r, balance sheet and financials.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 3 years accounting experience and/or formal education
Microsoft office ? strong excel skills
Understanding and experience with general ledger and reconciliation
Self-motivated, dependable, perform work to completion with pride, high attention to detail, very flexible
Fundamental accounting knowledge required. Payroll, A/P, A/R, reconciliation, journal entries, aging, balance sheet, fixed asset and depreciation understanding
Other duties as necessary
