Accountant Job Opening in Moorestown, New jersey - Jack & Jill has been delivering ice cream since 1929. We are currently accepting resumes for an Accountant for our Finance Department at our Moorestown, NJ headquarters. The right candidate will have a Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with heavy emphasis in Excel, strong verbal and written communication skills and have an ability to work with all levels and department within the organization including sales, operations, and administration.
Summary of Position: Readies and maintains financial and business transactions, applying accounting principles that include work that is analytical, evaluative, and advisory in nature and requires an understanding of both accounting theory and practice.
Work under the supervision of CPAs including, the accounting manager, controller, and CFO.
Responsible for preparation of account analysis and General Ledger reconciliations.
Assisting with the preparation of payroll and related reports utilizing ADP.
Assisting in the preparation of internal and external financial statements.
Assisting in the annual audit of the company?s financial statements and employee benefit plans.
Preparation of weekly sales dashboard.
Develops and implements accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures; recommending changes
Responsible for assisting in period closings
Salary: $40,000 - $45,000
