Senior Accountant Job Opening in Mount Laurel, New jersey - Summary: We are a full service public accounting firm that is continuing to grow and expand. We are seeking a Senior Accountant (must be CPA or CPA-candidate) to join our firm . You will have an opportunity to work on both corporate and individual tax engagements, for profit and non-profit audits, as well as various consulting projects.
Essential Duties but not all include:
Plan and manage assignments involving other team members effectively in order to meet client deadlines and requirements.
Support the firm?s partners in addressing complex client issues by applying analytical skills, performing research, etc.
Prepare formal compilation and review financial statements and footnotes (GAAP and OCBOA).
Initiate and maintain proactive communication with firm?s clients and partners to deliver outstanding service and respond to client accounting and tax needs.
Assist in development and training of junior staff, including delegation of work as appropriate and follow up on completion and accuracy.
Participate in goal setting and planning activities; monitor and track results.
Attend firm-sponsored events, meetings and functions.
Initiate new business opportunities for both existing and potential clients
Education, Certifications and/or Experience
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting.
Has obtained or is actively pursuing CPA certification.
Experience in public accounting, preferably 5+ years.

Salary: $70,000.00 to $90,000.00 /year
